MathLearn  Intervention

The MathLearn Program is a tailored mathematics intervention designed for students in Years 7 to 10 who need extra support in maths. The program is open to all students, with a particular focus on supporting:

  • EAL/D students (English as an Additional Language or Dialect)

  • CALD students (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds)

  • Refugee and asylum seeker students who may face additional challenges in accessing education

Our aim is to make mathematics more accessible, build confidence, and help every student achieve their best.

Program Features

Targeted Support: Students receive personalised learning pathways designed to fill gaps in understanding, reinforce foundational concepts, and develop problem-solving skills. Our culturally responsive teaching methods support students in overcoming language and educational barriers.

Duration: Depending on the needs of each student, the program runs for 6 to 12 months, providing sustained support to ensure lasting improvements.

Assessment and Interview: After receiving your application, an assessment will be conducted to identify the specific needs of the student. This will be followed by an interview to discuss goals and tailor the program accordingly.

Wellbeing Launch
Asylum Seeker Services

At FMAES, we are committed to supporting asylum seekers by providing essential services that foster stability, education, and community connection. Our programs are designed to address the unique challenges faced by individuals seeking refuge, ensuring access to resources that promote well-being, skill development, and social integration.

Through our Wellbeing Launch program, we assist people of all ages and backgrounds—no clinical diagnosis is required. We address the unique challenges faced by migrants, refugees, and culturally and linguistically diverse individuals, providing tailored guidance, advocacy, and support.

To begin, register for an intake assessment. We’ll take the time to understand your needs, help you identify barriers, and connect you with resources that will support your wellbeing.
