Belonging Builds Wellbeing

Multicultural Youth & Family Forum

Join us for a welcoming community forum focused on youth wellbeing, mental health and belonging within multicultural communities.

 

Young people, parents, carers and community members are invited to connect, learn and explore available supports and pathways together.

Building Digital Skills Workshops

FMAES is delivering free digital skills workshops to support older Australians to build confidence using technology, access online services and stay connected digitally through the Good Things Australia Be Connected program.

Participants will learn practical digital skills including:

  • Using smartphones, tablets and computers

  • Sending emails and video calling

  • Internet browsing and online safety

  • Accessing online services and forms

  • Using apps and digital communication tools

Multicultural Family Food Program

FMAES is launching a practical multicultural family food program focused on healthy cooking, budgeting and community connection. Families will learn simple low-cost recipes, reduce food waste and share food and culture in a welcoming community environment.

What participants will learn:

  • Healthy low-cost cooking

  • Budget-friendly meal planning

  • Reducing food waste

  • Hands-on cooking skills

  • Connecting with other families and communities

Free sessions helping multicultural families better understand the Australian school system, subject selection, study pathways and ways to support their child’s learning with confidence.
